We have a well established, 8 acre coarse fishing lake with an abundance of carp, roach, rudd, perch and bream. Fishing is available to all of our onsite guests and priced as follows:
Day tickets: £7.50
Weekly tickets: £35
Please note, fishing is not available to the general public.
Gatton Waters Fishery Rules
• Fishing day tickets can be purchased from reception from 8am on the day you wish to fish.
• Day tickets are £7.50 and allow fishing between 8am until dusk. Weekly tickets can be purchased for £35.
• All fish caught are strictly catch and return. Anyone found not to be returning all fish to the water will be asked to leave site immediately.
• No setting up on a peg before 8am.
• No peg can be reserved.
• Pegs directly in front of your pitch are not automatically your peg. All pegs are available to all customers from 8am on a first come, first served, basis.
• All fishing gear to be removed from peg by dusk.
• Barbless hooks must be used.
• Braided line is not allowed.
• All feeders and leads must be free running and not fixed or semi-fixed.
• Marker floats are not allowed.
• Bait boats are not allowed.
• Electronic bite indicators may be used only if the sounder is turned off.
• All surface floating baits are banned.
• No carp to be retained in nets.
• Carp mats must be used when handling/unhooking landed carp.
• Anglers must fish within 3 metres of their furthermost rod.
• Anglers to fish from their swim and not cast into neighbouring swims.
• No rods to be left unattended.
• No keepnets to be used during the month of May.
• All anglers must have a valid EA rod licence.
• Brollies or small shelters allowed but not tents or large bivvies.
• Maximum of 2 rods to be used (in use, in the water).
• No night fishing.
• No swimming.
